The proposal would provide $5.3 million over 2 years to support the establishment of a new early education and care service in Sydney, with the project led by Sikh Grammar School Australia. The funding would contribute to the planning and construction costs associated with establishing the new service. The new service would be operated by a not-for-profit entity as a Child Care Subsidy approved long daycare service.

The funding would be distributed as $3.9 million in 2025-26 and $1.4 million in 2026-27.

The proposal would be non-ongoing and start from 1 July 2025.
