The proposal would provide $100 million over 10 years to implement the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide's interim report, including changes to public immunity protection.

The proposal would be ongoing, not indexed, distribute funding evenly over 10 years and start on 1 July 2026.
