The proposal would provide $477 million over 2 years to invest in respectful relationship education, including consent training in initial teacher education.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, distribute funding evenly over 2 years, with departmental costs drawn from within the capped amount.

The proposal would start from 1 July 2026.
