The proposal would provide $12 billion over 12 years to increase funding for all existing programs (including for housing) under the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children  2022-2032.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, distribute funding evenly over 12 years, include departmental funding from within the capped amount, and start on 1 July 2025.
