The proposal would provide $113 million in grants over 4 years to get First Nations kids out on country, guided by Elders, to learn about culture, language, and country as a means of holistic healing and growth.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, distribute funding evenly over 4 years, include departmental costs from within the capped amount, and would start on 1 July 2026.
