This would include through specialist early and behavioural intervention programs, as well as working with the states and territories to further boost law and order initiatives, such as electronic monitoring and ankle bracelets for high-risk perpetrators.
The funding would be distributed as $3 million in both 2025-26 and 2026-27 and $2.6 million in 2027-28.
The proposal would be non-ongoing and start on 1 July 2025.
