The proposal would provide $70 million in 2025-26 for the First Nations Clean Energy Futures Implementation and Grants Program to provide grants for First Nations renewable projects to power communities with cheap, clean power.
The proposal would be non-ongoing, include department funding within the capped amount and start on 1 July 2025.
