Outcomes-based indigenous health delivery – CareFlight investment
The proposal would provide $10 million in 2025-26 to support CareFlight acquire an additional King Air B250 fixed wing aircraft to better service the Top End. The additional aircraft would supplement CareFlight’s current fleet of fixed wing aircraft servicing remote communities in the Top End and would provide additional care for approximately 700 patients per year.
The proposal would be non-ongoing and start from 1 July 2025.

Smithton Health Hub
The proposal would provide funding of $10.1 million in 2025-26 to deliver a new health hub for Smithton, Tasmania. The Smithton Health Hub would support the relocation of OCHRE Health services and would have facilities for visiting services and allied health professionals.
