The proposal would provide $328,000 in 2025-26 to support LGBTIQA+ media organisations and community connections across the country. This includes $26,000 to support each of the Star Observer, QNews and OutInPerth, and $250,000 for Joy Media.

The proposal would start on 1 July 2025.
