The proposal would provide $100 million over 4 years to grow Australia’s video games industry to establish a Games Investment and Enterprise Fund to support game development and innovation.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, distribute funding evenly over 4 years and include departmental funding from within the capped amount.

The proposal would start from 1 July 2026.
