The proposal would provide $40 million over 4 years to support LGBTIQ+ refugees with an internal target, funding, and tailored assistance to protect them from persecution.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, distribute funding evenly over the 4 years of the proposal and start from 1 July 2026.
