The proposal would provide $6.4 million over 3 years to the Goanna Academy to expand its preventative mental health education programs and pilot a new mental health training program, ‘Goanna Champions’.

The funding profile for the grant would be $2.5 million in 2025-26, $2.0 million in 2026-27, and $1.9 million in 2027-28.

The proposal would be non-ongoing and start from 1 July 2025.
