The proposal would provide $8.6 million over 2 years to boost innovative perpetrator responses – like electronic monitoring and ankle bracelets on high risk perpetrators, intensive behaviour change programs, and specialist early interventions for young people.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, distribute funding evenly over 2 years and start on 1 July 2025.
