The proposal would provide $69.5 million over 4 years to food charities to expand their services and for some to include school breakfast programs.

The funding profile would be $39.5 million in 2025-26 and $10 million per year in 2026-27, 2027-28 and 2028-29.

The proposal would be non-ongoing and start on 1 July 2025.
