The proposal would provide $20 million over 4 years to Parks Australia to boost engagement and restoration efforts for their Marine Parks Grants and Oceans Discovery and Restoration programs.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, distribute funding evenly over 4 years, include departmental funding from within the capped amount and start on 1 July 2026.
