The proposal would provide $10 million over 4 years towards a new Bureau of Meteorology weather radar for Central Queensland. The funding profile would be $4 million in 2025-26 and $2 million in each of the following 3 years (to 2028-29).

The proposal would be non-ongoing and start from 1 July 2025.
