The proposal would commit $9.8 million over 4 years to establish a 525,000-hectare Great Forest National Park in Victoria’s Central Highlands and nominate the area for World Heritage listing.

The proposal would be non-ongoing, include departmental funding from within the capped amount and start from 1 July 2025.
