The proposal would provide $31.5 million over 4 years to Conservation Volunteers Australia, to restore on-the-ground programs that preserve woodlands, wetlands, and protect native species.

The funding would be distributed as $13.5 million in 2025-26, $12 million in 2026-27, $3 million in 2027-28 and $3 million in 2028-29.

The proposal would be non-ongoing and start from 1 July 2025.
