Roads to Recovery – additional investment
The proposal would increase funding to the Roads to Recovery program by $250 million over 2 years, to help local governments maintain and upgrade safer local roads.
The funding would be distributed as $200 million in 2025-26 and $50 million in 2026-27.
The proposal would be non-ongoing and start from 1 July 2025.
