- component 1: provide $2 million over 4 years to establish a national real-time toll of women killed by violence. Funding would be evenly distributed over 4 years.
- component 2: provide $4 million to commission a national prevalence study on perpetration of violence against women and children to be undertaken by the Australian Bureau of Statistics(ABS) every 5 years ongoing (in 2026-27, in 2031-32, and so on) and not be indexed.
